Microsoft technologies

In Microsoft technologies, we provide our services in following areas:

  • Operating systems
  • Databases
  • Virtualization
  • Central infrastructure administration
  • Communication
  • Office productivity
  • Access control

Operation systems

Our solutions based on Windows Server 2012 and previous versions include:

  • Directory service based on MS Active Directory,
  • Network services including DNS Server, DHCP Server,
  • Web solutions based on MS IIS Server,
  • File and printing solutions.

Using MS SQL Server technology, we can offer both, implementation of the database platform for simple solutions and for the complex database cluster.

Integration tools

MS SQL solution includes also advanced services for interconnection with other systems, in particular Integration Services (ISS), which replaced former Data Transformation Services (DTS). It is a standard tool of ETL type (Extract, Transform & Load).

As part of the MS SQL Server 2012, a new service Data Quality Services (DQS) was launched for quality control of stored data. It ensures that the resulting data processed by the system have the adequate quality level, using both, built-in automatic means and assigned roles.

The set of ISS and DQS tools represents a very strong tool for intra-company integration, whether with economic systems of SAP type or systems for the control of corporate resources (Enterprise Resource Planning - ERP).

Control of reference data and internal code lists

With Master Data Services (MDS), it is possible to control automatically and centrally the reference data including complex hierarchically structured links. MDS provides services for migration and versions of the reference data.

Virtualization with MS Hyper-V

On MS Hyper-V, called also Hypervisor, it enables sharing of hardware means of the physical server by virtual servers. This solution enables to increase hardware efficiency as compared with solutions based on physical servers.

Microsoft uses different, multi-layer approach from technologies of VMWare type. For Hyper-V run, it is necessary to have one control system, usually of Windows Server 2008 type in 64-bit version, running on the physical server, which hosts individual virtual servers providing services for applications and users.

Development of virtualization tools however did not stop; in the next version of Windows 8 Server, it will be soon possible to operate virtualization also on the network level or make backups using the cloud

Central MS infrastructure administration

MS System Center is a family of products for administration of server data centres and client environments.

Whether you take care of the complex server infrastructure or cloud system or just a few client stations, MS. System Center will enable you to perform tasks with maximum efficiency.

MS Exchange communication

The mail server MS Exchange Server enables cooperation within the work group and in the Internet. It includes advanced administration and sharing of calendars and access to intra-company data from both, PC computers and notebooks and mobile devices.

All services can be used also through a web interface.

Office productivity with MS Sharepoint

Solutions based on MS Sharepoint Server enable to create

  • complex Internet information portal for presentation of the company,
  • intra-company information web - Intranet,
  • sites for cooperation and information sharing within the team,
  • and personal sites of individual users.

Access control: MS Active Directory

MS Active Directory is an integrated tool for setting access policies and rules, installation of the software on administered computers, including collective critical corrections of the operating system or applications. It operates based on so-called domains, and the whole structure of links within the domain is strictly hierarchic. The solution includes also detail migration policies.
